Revolutionizing protein research

The Firefly 3000 SystemProtein research has developed tremendously over the last decade, and so has the need for innovative research tools. Cell Biosciences creates instrumentation systems that are revolutionary in meeting researchers' existing needs, and revealing previously undetectable information about intracellular control pathways.

Our first product harnesses the power of nanoproteomics. The Firefly™ 3000 protein analysis system provides information similar to a Western blot — and more — in a capillary. Even low-abundance proteins can be rapidly measured in samples as small as 25 cells, including:

  • Sorted cells
  • Fine needle tumor aspirates
  • Micro-dissected tissue sections
  • Isolated stem cell populations

The Firefly 3000 also quantifies the various phosphorylation states for signal-tranduction proteins using a single assay. Combined with the ultra-small sample size, it's an ideal tool for cell signaling research.

At Cell Biosciences, our mission is simple: we're revolutionizing protein research.
